The Southern Qualifier for Britain’s Strongest Man 2008 is to be held at 12 noon on Saturday 3rd May at The Fenn Bell Inn. This year brings a change in format for the qualifying rounds, with the number of guaranteed places in the final down from four to two.

With the likes of Oli Thompson, Mick Holding and Jay Hughes - to name but three - all vying for a spot in the final, you can guarantee this will be a nail-biting event.
